Map drawing 🗺️+ piano graffiti 🎹
I’m glad to be part of HKRI Taikoo Hui’s summer project "Play me, I'm Yours" at Shanghai West Nanjing Road’s Taikoo Hui Shopping Mall. This time, I participated in the piano graffiti and map drawing. Share with you the behind-the-scene stories.

Initially, I received a briefing about free creative work in the field of musical architecture. However, it eventually evolved into graffiti primarily featuring the cube patterns of artist Cyril Lancelin, to avoid any copyright issues. Therefore, I didn't sign my name this time. The graffiti on the pianos consists of vibrant colors and black-and-white gradients. It took me a month from the initial digital sketch to the final completion. The graffiti process went smoothly. Previously, I had painted a 60-meter wall and a few-meter door, but they were mostly done on flat surfaces. This time, it's a new challenge as I have to create a three-dimensional effect with a sense of perspective. Most of my previous graffiti projects used acrylic paint, but I hope to have the opportunity to try spray paint in the future and continue learning new skills, which is always exciting.

The images here lightly document the time I spent at the factory. Looking back at the past half month, with nights in Jiading accompanied by the noise of the factory and cockroaches, I'm grateful for my hard work.
